Okay so i started my period and it was super light and only lasted for a day. I only wore a panty liner and barely anything was on it. Do you think i need to wear anything at all since it is so light?

Nope. if you can get away with just a liner, then just wear that.

wear a pantyliner just to be safe. unless you want stained panties.

just wear a liner . . even if it is lyk that to b fresh and clean and jus in case it did pick up u would have protection
